Kyle Busch

In just seven seasons, Kyle Busch has become one of NASCAR’s biggest winners and most polarizing drivers.

As one of NASCAR’s most aggressive drivers and intense competitors, Busch has both attracted a large fan following and become one of the sport’s most hated stars.

He won four races in 2011, giving him 23 Cup wins in his career, and made the Chase for the fifth time.

The younger brother of Kurt, Kyle was regarded as one of the best young drivers to come along in years when he made his Sprint Cup debut for Hendrick Motorsports in 2004.

Busch won two races in his rookie season in 2005 and finished 20th in points for Hendrick. He won two more races and made the Chase in 2006 and 2007 before Hendrick decided not to re-sign him for the 2008 season.

Busch joined Joe Gibbs Racing in 2008 and his career exploded. Busch won eight Cup races in 2008 and made the Chase before finishing 10th in points. He also set a single-season record with 21 wins across NASCAR’s three national series.

Busch has won 19 Cup races with Gibbs the past four years and has made the Chase all four seasons. He won the 2009 Nationwide Series championship with Gibbs while running both series. He set records in 2011 with 50 Nationwide Series wins, including a single-season record 13 in 2010, and 100 wins combined in all three national series.
